Ferrari Monza SP2 in Rosso Magma and Blu Ford

Painting made in my Monthly Monza project in which I painted a Ferrari Monza every month. This one has a very special color scheme, the shiny cherry red of Ferrari’s Rosso Magma combined with light blue, called Blu Ford. And the owner also painted the wheels blue. Initially I didn’t really know what to think of these colors, I thought it was quite a brave and original choice but a bit strange. After some searching I found out is is a classic racing color scheme. The owner of the car is Talacrest a famous Ferrari expert knowing the Ferrari history. The dual-tone schema is a classic one as it is based on the 1960s Maranello Concessionaires private racing team owned by Colonel Ronnie Hoare.
