We are planning to get a dog and this might be it’s mother! I made a drawing of her and gave it to the breeder. It’s a Scottish Deerhound. Hope you like it. Brings me back to my youth when I drew quite a lot of animals.
The puppy might be born in November so time to paint might reduce quite a bit then…so now quickly back to painting the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm and the McLaren 620R I am currently working on.

Suddenly remembered I didn’t post my latest finished car painting yet… quite a special one, because of the special car and because of its composition! The car: a blu corsa Ferrari 488 spider with crema leather and yellow calipers! Quite a unique and rare spec.
And the composition: the owner already has 3 artworks of his previous cars and this time he requested a painting of his latest sportscar with the car on it from several angles, including it’s interior! I did this kind of compositions before but that was quite a long time ago…took me about 20 hours to sketch, draw, improve step by step to complete the drawing on paper before starting the drawing and painting on canvas.
Time consuming but fun to do, I hope you like the result!

Hello all, I wish you a merry Christmas and lovely holidays. Please have a look at my latest painting, shiney one hey!! I started it a couple of years ago, the painting of my Bezzera Giulia espressomachine. Took a while and left it standing there, working on commissions but last couple of weeks I did find some time to complete it. I loved to paint all complex reflections…of the cup, the machine itself, my kitchen and the reflection of myself making the photo the painting is based upon. Hope you like it!

My latest painting….really not my standard style but nice to make it anyways. Made it for my brother. He wanted a painting of his cat in a very colorful “paint by number” style and this is the result. Acrylic on paper, about 30x40 cm. First made a pencil drawing of his cat based on a photo and then sketched all color areas. It was more work then expected but I am quite happy with the result. Colors are strong and simple while I am in a phase where in my other current works I put a lot of effort in subtle things like tones, overlapping areas and sharpness versus blurry areas. I learn from every painting I make, also from this one.

My latest artwork, a colourful one of a Honey bee. I made it as a birthday present for a good friend who has bees and gave it to him last weekend. Luckily he liked it (an expert like him can be critical 😉.
I had a great time making it, playing with the contrasts between the sharp details and the blurred areas, the differences in tones and saturation of the colours. Quite happy with the result! Now continuing with the huge Ferrari artwork (and last details of a cat painting)

🎉👊 My three paintings of the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale are completed!! 🇮🇹 What a nice creative journey I made, started with a red-white car, then a white one. Not being very happy about the white background on that one, so during painting the 3rd one, a green Stradale, I searched for inspiration for some coloured backgrounds! And found that in the photo’s made during the presentation. Dark background with red lights and a large logo, the cross with the Biscione snake/dragon. For all three cars I searched for the best colors, for the green version, background and logo in rosso!
